Hello!

My name is Sadie Kimball. I am a queer community caregiver, dancer, water lover, mama to two fur babies, wife, friend, daughter, niece and granddaughter. From these I became a birth and postpartum doula and massage therapist specializing in perinatal massage. I offer honest, holistic, nonjudgemental and inclusive care to individuals and families through pregnancy and birth and beyond. I aim to provide personalized, compassionate, evidence-based care that supports my client’s informed choices about their reproductive health and experiences.

I found myself being drawn to bodywork after a series of injuries from my past in dance necessitated deeper tending and an interest in working with bodies in a new way. My dance background developed in me an in-depth knowledge and wonder with anatomy, movement and embodiment. My CMT training at McKinnon Body Therapy Institute in Oakland, CA deepened this knowledge into the foundation of my massage practice. I have always felt that therapeutic touch is a cornerstone of health, vitality, and nervous system regulation. And therapeutic touch during pregnancy is a balm like no other.

As for the little ones … I believe the lineage of my aunt and grandma who have devoted their lives to supporting children and families (in their own unique ways) was passed down to me! What began as years of supporting families with infants as a nanny, has now grown into my full spectrum doula and perinatal massage offerings.

Through my work, I hope to serve families in the Portland community while centering reproductive justice and access to such vital services. I welcome all of my clients’ beautiful and intersectional identities, backgrounds, past stories, and family structures. You are welcome here.

I live in Northwest Portland with my wife Katia, and our two kitties, Goose and Nova.
