Meet Sadie Kimball,

I am a queer community caregiver, dancer, wife, friend, daughter, niece and granddaughter. From these I became a Birth Doula and Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT #28659) specializing in Perinatal Massage and Abdominal Therapy. Originally from Santa Barbara then Oakland, California, I recently relocated to Portland and am excited to begin offering my care to this new community. I offer honest, holistic, nonjudgemental and inclusive care to individuals and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth and beyond. I aim to provide personalized, compassionate, evidence-based care that supports my client’s informed choices about their reproductive health and experiences.

My background as a dancer and nanny, which is what led me to this work, gives me a felt sense and awe with anatomy, embodiment, and joy! To follow curiosity and wonder in the process of our healing is a powerful tool. This, along with developing trust to co-create sessions of rest, peace, and deep support is what I hope to offer my clients. I have always felt that therapeutic touch is a cornerstone of health, vitality, and nervous system regulation. And therapeutic touch during the childbearing year is a balm like no other.

Through my work, I hope to serve families in the Portland community while centering reproductive justice and access to such vital services. I am currently in process to accept insurance for doula and massage services in Oregon and in the meanwhile I always have a sliding scale option. I welcome all of my clients’ beautiful and intersectional identities, backgrounds, past stories, and family structures. You are welcome here.

I live in Northwest Portland with my wife Katia, and our two kitties, Goose and Nova. When I am not massaging or at births, I spend as much time as I can paddle boarding, hiking, sewing, and exploring my new backyard.
